An Italian Art Deco chandelier built in the language of the Novecento Italiano period — ribbed brass tiers, fluted column arms, eight candle lights spiralling inward from the body, nine frosted-glass up-cones around the circumference, and a frosted-glass bowl diffuser beneath. The up-cones wash the ceiling with warm light while the bowl diffuses the inner candles down onto the table, so the room is lit from several directions at once. Proportioned for a dining room, not a hotel lobby.
The ribbed brass body is machined rather than stamped, its parallel reeding catching room light across the full circumference; the fluted columns are true verticals, each carrying one up-cone and one candle arm, doubled in pairs for the dense, rhythmic presence of 1920s–30s Italian lighting. Solid brass, finished by hand and left unlacquered to deepen over the years.
Size: 42" (107cm) diameter × 13" (33cm) body. Rod-and-chain drop adjustable 46–96" at installation.
