Light, multiplied.

Hundreds of hand-cut K9 crystal rods, hung in concentric tiers from a solid brass frame. The rods refract the light from the bulbs above into a thousand smaller points below — the optical effect that makes a real cut-crystal chandelier read as architecture rather than decoration. From across a room it looks like a sculptural cylinder of glass. From directly beneath, it reads as a constellation of refracted light against the ceiling.

About the crystal

Built from hand-cut K9 crystal rods, a high-clarity optical glass with a refractive index close to true lead crystal, and the material of choice for premium contemporary chandeliers across Europe and Asia. Each rod is cut by hand, faceted along its length and hung individually from the frame. That labour is what separates a real cut-crystal chandelier from a pressed-glass one: hundreds of individually hung pieces, each catching light at its own angle.

Dim the bulbs and the scatter softens into atmosphere. Bring them up and the room comes alive.

About the brass

Solid brass, not plated. We don't plate brass at this scale because plating wears unevenly under crystal load and shows itself within a few years. Solid brass ages instead of failing — the finish deepens into a richer warmth that complements the cool brilliance of the crystal. Unlacquered by default; the rate of patina depends on the room's humidity and how often the fixture is cleaned.

Made in the finish you choose

Six metal finishes are available for the frame, canopy and suspension at no extra cost — brushed brass, aged bronze, 24K gold, oil rubbed bronze, midnight black and brushed nickel. Rod or chain suspension is included, and dimming is fitted free. Extend the drop to three metres in 50cm sections at $10 each; a sloped-ceiling canopy is $50.

Crystal rods are hand-cut and hung individually. Minor variation in length and facet angle is intrinsic to hand-finished crystal and is not a defect.
