The Modern Brass & Glass Flush Mount is a small, round ceiling light: a smooth frosted glass shade on a brass base. It measures 19 cm (7.5″) across and 18 cm (7.1″) high. It is sized for an entryway, hallway, landing, closet or bedroom, and for standard 2.4 m (8 ft) ceilings where a pendant would feel too large.
The glass
The shade is smooth frosted glass. The frosting hides the lamp and turns it into a soft, even glow across the whole shade. The brass base holds the shade close to the ceiling and gives a warm band of metal between the ceiling and the glass.
Why warm light matters
Frosted glass takes on the colour of the lamp inside it. At 2700K the shade glows a soft ivory that makes an entry or hallway feel welcoming; cooler light makes it look grey and clinical. On this piece, warm white is part of the design.
Sizing and placement
At 19 cm (7.5″) wide, it suits an entryway, a hallway, a landing, a walk-in closet or a small bedroom of up to about 3 × 3 m (10 × 10 ft). In a long hallway, use a series spaced about 2 to 2.5 m (6.5 to 8 ft) apart. With an 18 cm (7.1″) profile, it works on ceilings from about 2.3 m (7.5 ft).
Mounting
The brass base fixes directly to the ceiling, with the shade held just below it.
The light
The frosted shade gives a soft, ambient light that spreads around the space rather than a direct downlight. It is a light for passing through and arriving; in a kitchen or at a desk, add task lighting.
Lamping and installation
E27, E14 or E26 lamp base. Warm white LED at 2700K. Bulbs are not included. The fixture weighs about 1.5 kg (3.3 lb). It is hardwired; have it installed by an electrician.
Care
Switch off and let the lamp cool. Dust the glass with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it with a damp microfibre cloth and a little mild glass cleaner applied to the cloth. Wipe the brass with a soft dry cloth only, with no metal polish.

We wire every lamp in our workshop for the country it is delivered to. Voltage, plug and electrical standard are set from your delivery address, so there is nothing to choose at checkout. Pieces shipped to the US are fitted with UL-listed drivers and LED components.
The colour temperature is listed in the specifications. A dimmable version, or a warmer or cooler light, can be made at no extra cost: write it in the note at checkout.
Every piece is assembled, wired and switched on at our workshop bench before it is packed. We check the electrics, the fixings and the finish, and nothing is crated until it passes.
Ask us, and we send you a video of your own lamp, lit and working, before it leaves the workshop. It is free.
An installation manual is packed with every lamp. Hardwired fixtures should be installed by a licensed electrician.
For ceiling lights, a standard ceiling box carries about 23 kg (50 lb). Check the weight in the specifications: heavier pieces need a fan-rated box or a mounting plate fixed to a joist.
If a piece arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, email contact@casalolalights.com with your order number and photos. We cover the return shipping and send a free replacement or a full refund, with no restocking fee.
If a parcel is lost, we replace it free or refund it in full. An order not delivered within 90 days of dispatch is refunded automatically.
Every piece carries a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects, from the day it is delivered.
Standard catalogue pieces, including pieces made after you order, can be returned within 30 days of delivery. The piece must be unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging. A 20% restocking fee and return shipping apply.
Choosing a finish, size, dimming option, colour temperature, cable length or plug does not affect your right to return. Bespoke commissions (a non-catalogue size, a structural change or a specially commissioned material, agreed before payment) and items marked final sale cannot be returned for change of mind.
Cancelling
Free within 48 hours of ordering. After that, a charge of up to 20% may apply for materials and work already committed to your piece.
EU and UK customers
Your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal applies, with no restocking fee.

Yes. Size, proportions and metal finish can be adapted on most models, and we send you a drawing to approve before production. Changes to wiring, dimming or colour temperature keep the piece returnable; changes to its outer form are made for you alone and cannot be returned. Yes, at no extra cost. The standard version is not dimmable; write #dim in the note at checkout and we fit a dimmable driver. Tell us the dimmer or smart-home system you use and we match the driver to it. The light is 2700K Warm White as standard; a warmer or cooler colour temperature can be made on request, also at no extra cost.
