A single tier of hand-cut Italian alabaster panels, arranged as a circular drum, suspended from a brass rod and canopy. Brass studs perimeter the upper edge — visible hardware, deliberately exposed, holding each panel to the frame ring above. The construction is honest and the geometry is restrained: one cylinder of stone, lit from within, hanging from a single point.

Joan Singolo is the entry to the Joan family — same panel construction and brass-stud detail as the larger Joan Rotondo and Joan Oval, but stripped down to a single tier. For rooms that want the Joan design language without the additional visual weight of multi-tier construction.

About the alabaster.

Vertical panels of hand-cut solid Italian alabaster — individually shaped, hung from the brass frame ring. The panels within a single fixture are not matched. Heavy veining beside softer cloudy panels, sometimes side by side. Matched stone is the signature of factory output; varied stone is the signature of real material, hand-selected.

Choose the veining at checkout:

• More veining — heavily patterned, dramatic, high-contrast
• Less veining — softer, cloudier, more uniformly translucent
• Random selection — we choose from stock

The brass studs.

Functional hardware, exposed as design. The brass studs along the upper perimeter hold each alabaster panel to the frame above — we leave them visible rather than concealing them. The detail reads as deliberate construction language, not decoration.

All brass is solid, not plated.

Finish.

Default is solid brass. Available in chrome or brushed black (with stainless steel hardware) on request — specify at checkout. All finishes at the same price.

Rod suspension.

Unlike Joan Rotondo (cable suspension, floating effect), Joan Singolo hangs from a solid brass rod — a more architectural, grounded read. The rod telescopes for height adjustment at installation: default ships to accommodate 9–12 ft ceilings. Custom rod lengths on request for higher ceilings.

Bulbs and light.

IP65 wet-rated version available.

Standard ships dry-rated. For bathrooms, covered outdoor, or wet-zone applications, IP65 specification available — sealed driver, gasketed canopy, wet-rated LED. Add $650 at checkout. Lead time +3–4 weeks.
