The Linear Brass Pendant is a long, shallow oval shade made entirely of solid brass, hung on two slim brass rods from a rectangular brass canopy. It comes in two lengths: 120 cm (47.2″) with four light sources, or 153 cm (60.2″) with six. The shade stands 15 cm (5.9″) high, and the fixture hangs 80 cm (31.5″) from the ceiling with the standard rods. It is made for a kitchen island or a long dining table.
The brass
Shade, rods and canopy are all solid brass, with no fabric, glass or plated steel anywhere on the fixture. The outside of the shade carries a fine striated texture that catches the light along its length. Inside, the brass is left smooth and bright, so it reflects the light down onto the table and glows warm gold when the lamp is on.
Why warm light matters
Brass takes on the colour of the light it reflects. At 2700K the inside of the shade glows a warm gold; cooler light turns it flat and greenish. On this piece, warm white is part of the design.
Sizing and placement
The 120 cm (47.2″) version suits a kitchen island or dining table of about 180 to 220 cm (71 to 87″). The 153 cm (60.2″) version suits a table or island of about 220 to 280 cm (87 to 110″). Hang the rim 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35″) above the surface. Because the shade is shallow, it keeps sightlines open across the island or table.
Suspension
The 120 cm version hangs from a canopy of 60 × 10 cm (23.6 × 3.9″) and the 153 cm version from a canopy of 90 × 10 cm (35.4 × 3.9″), both 2.5 cm (1″) deep. With the standard rods the overall drop is 80 cm (31.5″), which over an island or table suits ceilings of about 2.4 to 2.6 m (8 to 8.5 ft). Longer or shorter rods are made to order for other ceiling heights.
The light
The light sources sit inside the shade and shine straight down, so the pendant lights the surface below and the brass hides the lamps from view. It gives a focused, even light along the island or table, and the ceiling above stays soft. In a large open-plan room, pair it with softer ambient light elsewhere.
Lamping and installation
Four light sources in the 120 cm version, six in the 153 cm version. Warm white 2700K. The 120 cm version weighs about 7 to 10 kg (15 to 22 lb) and the 153 cm about 9 to 13 kg (20 to 29 lb). The fixture is hardwired; have your electrician fix the canopy to a joist or reinforced blocking.
Care
Switch off and let the lamps cool. Dust with a soft dry cloth, following the direction of the texture. Do not use metal polish or abrasive cleaners: they flatten the finish and can mark the brass.
Made to order
Every piece is made to order. Rod length can be set to your ceiling height, and dimming is available on request.

How do I install the lamp?

What bulbs are compatible?
Bulb type and socket (E27, E14, E12, G9, etc.) are listed in the product specifications above. Most models are LED-compatible. If you need a specific colour temperature or dimmable configuration, leave a note in your cart or contact us before ordering.
Is this lamp dimmable?
The standard model ships non-dimmable. To request a dimmable version, add a note in your cart with the code #dim or contact us at contact@casalolalights.com before placing your order.
Can this be customized?
Yes. We offer custom rod lengths, cable drops, finishes, and sizing at no extra cost on most models. For special requests, email contact@casalolalights.com with the product name and your requirements. Our team will respond with a quote and timeline.
How do I clean and maintain it?
Wipe with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For stone surfaces (alabaster, marble, travertine), never use chemical cleaners, abrasive materials, or wet cloths. For metal finishes (copper, brass), a dry cloth preserves the patina. For fabric shades (linen, cotton), use a soft brush attachment on a low-power vacuum.
How is it packaged?
Every lamp ships in a reinforced wooden crate with high-density foam suspension. All shipments are fully insured. We designed this packaging specifically to protect fragile natural materials during international transit.
How long will delivery take?

Is this lamp compatible with my country's electrical system?
Yes. Every lamp is built for your destination — voltage, plug type, and wattage are adjusted based on your shipping address. US (110–120V), EU (220–240V), UK, Australia, and all other regions are supported.
What certifications does this lamp have?
Certification is stated per product, not across the catalogue. CE documentation is available on request. For US shipments the driver and LED are UL listed as standard; whole-luminaire UL listing is handled per project. IP ratings, where relevant, are on the product page. What is the warranty?
Every Casalola product comes with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. If your lamp develops a fault due to materials or workmanship within 24 months of delivery, we will repair or replace it at no cost. Contact contact@casalolalights.com with photos and your order number.

Are the lamps smart-home compatible?
Models with replaceable bulbs can be fitted with smart bulbs (WiFi, Zigbee, etc.) for voice control and app integration. Check the specifications above for bulb type compatibility. For built-in LED models, contact us to discuss smart options before ordering.

Each piece is wired for your destination's voltage and plug standard, bench-tested with the lamp lit, then packed in a reinforced wooden crate with foam suspension and shipped fully insured to the USA, EU, UK, Australia, Asia and the Middle East.

This piece takes Built-in / E26 / E27 bulbs, not included, so you choose the brightness. As a guide, a standard 800-lumen LED in each socket gives soft ambient light; for a dining or kitchen island use 1,000–1,200 lumens per socket. Bulb count is on the spec sheet.

Hardwired ceiling installation by a licensed electrician is required. A printed installation guide and the fixture weight are supplied; the junction box and mounting must be rated for the stated weight. Unpack, inspect and test-light the piece before installation; any transit damage must be reported with photos before the fixture is fitted.
Metal parts: dry microfiber cloth. Unlacquered brass and copper patinate naturally; a mild brass polish restores the original tone if preferred, kept away from any stone or fabric. Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning.
Casalola lighting is lab-tested and certified to international electrical safety standards. The marks that apply to this piece — UL Listed, CSA, CE, CCC, PSE or RCM depending on the destination — are listed in the specification table, and the voltage, plug and wattage are configured for your address before dispatch. Cancellation is free within 2 days of ordering; a 15% fee applies from day 3 to day 7 and 20% from day 8, as production will have begun. After delivery, unused pieces in original packaging can be returned within 30 days at 20% plus return shipping.
