Hand-hammered blackened iron cups, held by a slim brass rod against a warm walnut backplate, with a small pull-chain within reach — a sconce built for people who care what their lighting looks like off as much as on. Each iron shade is hammered by hand so the surface catches light in small facets; the walnut adds grain and warmth, the brass spine and pull-chain ball a subtle highlight. It reads organic-modern rather than standard fixture.
At roughly 50cm high and 19.7cm wide with a 12–14cm projection, it has presence but still fits beside a bed, over a low cabinet or along a corridor. The pull chain gives fingertip control right at the fixture — ideal where there's no wired wall switch.
Where it works: bedside (one each side of the bed, for reading without flooding the room); a reading corner or home office; a hallway, corridor or stair run; flanking artwork, a credenza or a fireplace in pairs.
