Drawing inspiration from the classical architecture of the Italian ridge city of Volto—historically renowned for its alabaster deposits—this fixture acts as a luminous totem in any space. The central column, featuring precision-milled horizontal ribbing, anchors the design, while the two floating discs of natural alabaster appear to levitate, diffusing light into a creamy, ethereal glow. It captures the romance of 1930s Milanese design, bringing a soft, atmospheric warmth that transforms dining rooms and foyers into sanctuaries of calm.
The Materiality
We refuse to compromise with resin substitutes or plated steel. The central column is machined from Solid Copper, chosen for its superior thermal conductivity and substantial weight, then finished to preserve its luster. The twin diffusers are hand-carved from Grade-A Spanish Alabaster, a stone revered for its translucency and unique veining. Because we use natural stone, no two fixtures are exactly alike; each disc carries its own geological fingerprint, ensuring your client receives a truly one-of-a-kind commissioned piece.
