The 76 cm and 89 cm spreads are the minimum; the anchors can be set further apart to cover a longer table or a wider stairwell. The hanging hardware for all three globes is supplied.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eThe glass\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eHand-blown cream opal glass, glossy rather than matte, formed into deep vertical lobes. It hides the lamp completely from every angle and glows as a whole object rather than as a bright point inside a shell. Unlit, the globes hold their ivory tone against a white ceiling instead of disappearing into it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eWhere it belongs\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eOver a round dining table or a kitchen island, or in a stairwell or double-height hall, where the staggered heights read as a column of light from below. Over a table, hang the lowest globe 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35\") above the surface. Over a walkway, keep at least 2.1 m (7 ft) clear beneath the lowest globe.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eLamping and installation\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eThree E26 lamps (E27 outside North America), one in each globe. Warm white LED at 2700K keeps the cream glass warm; a filament lamp suits the piece. Bulbs are not included.
